Johanna Schneider left the
Business Roundtable last month after an 18-year run at the corporate trade group. Schneider has signed on with another Washington organization, but is holding the news until January when the group will announce her arrival and several other leadership changes, she told the
Alley.
"I will be using my skill set of communications and thought leadership, that's the area that I'll be working in," said Schneider, who was BRT's executive director of external relations.
During her almost two decades at the Roundtable, her work garnered several awards and she launched the well-known CEO Economic Outlook survey, a quarterly snapshot of where chief executives think the economy is headed.
UPDATE: Former BRT president John Castellani, who worked with Schneider for a decade before leaving last year to head PhRMA, sent along this statement to the Alley:
"I worked with Johanna for many years and very much admire her keen strategic insight into communications and public relations. During my tenure, she did a tremendous job serving the members of BRT."
