Americans For Prosperity Ad Attacks Obama Over Solyndra, Crony Capitalism

The conservative group Americans For Prosperity is out with a new $2.4 million ad campaign that accuses President Obama of crony capitalism for pushing loans to Solyndra and other solar companies that have donated money to Democratic causes.

"Is this the change we're supposed to believe in?" the ad says. "Tell President Obama: You shouldn't use taxpayer dollars for political favors."

The 60-second ads will run for two weeks starting today on cable and broadcast networks in  Florida, Michigan, Virginia and New Mexico, all important 2012 battleground states.
