Cargill, the agribusiness giant and largest private company in the country, is looking for public relations counsel to help it navigate the global food security debate. And the company is so huge, it may be in the market to hire several firms, according to The Holmes Report.
"The tendency of large corporations is to try and boil the ocean," said (corporate vice president Mike) Fernandez. "Our hope is to focus our activities in ways that are more helpful to our public policy positions and our customers, and informative to all publics we interact with, including governments and NGOs."
