Daschles Hosts Fundraiser for House Dems
K Street rainmakers Tom and Linda Daschle are holding a fundraiser at their Northwest Washington home later this month featuring House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Whip Steny Hoyer and Assistant Leader James Clyburn.
The invitation to the Oct. 27 event asks individual hosts to give $30,800 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, the max a person can give to a party committee each year. But $2,500 will get you in the door.
Linda Daschle, is a prominent transportation lobbyist. Husband Tom, a former Democratic Senate majority leader, works as a senior policy adviser at DLA Piper, but does not register as a lobbyist.
