The National Retail Federation is launching a $10 million full-court press to promote its new Jobs, Innovation and Consumer Value Agenda that it says will protect and grow the retail industry.
The year-long effort will include lobbying lawmakers, reaching out to businesses and consumers, a social media and advertising campaign and a new website that highlights retail's role in the economy.
"The real purpose of the campaign is to change outcomes on policy issues that are so central to our industry, and we believe are also critical to the overall health of our nation's economy," NRF president and CEO Matthew Shay said.
