DCCC Releases Ads Hitting Republicans on Fiscal Cliff

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released radio and web ads Wednesday targeting 21 Republican members of the House on taxes and the fiscal cliff.

"A middle class tax cut is on the table, but tea party House Republicans are holding the middle class hostage to get more tax cuts for millionaires," the narrator intones in the ad hitting California Rep. Gary Miller. "Tell Congressman Gary Miller, don't drive us off the cliff," he continues, to an image of a car driving off a cliff.

Earlier this week, the DCCC launched automated calls on the fiscal cliff in 35 Republican districts. Most of the members hit by radio or web ads were also targeted by the robocalls.

The radio ads target the following GOP Reps: Rick Crawford and Tim Griffin (Arkansas), Jeff Denham and Buck McKeon (California), Steve Southerland (Florida), John Fleming (Louisiana), Erik Paulsen (Minnesota), Lee Terry (Nebraska), Joe Heck (Nevada), Tom Reed (New York), Bill Johnson (Ohio), Mike Fitzpatrick (Pennsylvania), Kristi Noem (South Dakota), Frank Wolf (Virginia), and David McKinley (West Virginia).

The web ads targeted Miller, Dan Webster (Florida), Tom Latham (Iowa), John Kline (Minnesota), Chris Gibson (New York), and Jaime Herrera Beutler (Washington).
