Update: The Four Unresolved House Races

Rep. Allen West, R-Fla.(J. Scott Applewhite/AP)

With Democrat Ami Bera's win over GOP Rep. Dan Lungren in California's 7th District, we're down to just four unresolved House races. Here's the latest in California, Arizona, North Carolina, and Florida:

-- California's 52nd District:

Democrat Scott Peters' lead over Rep. Brian Bilbray grew substantially over the course of the past week: At the end of last week he led by 1,334 votes, and Friday morning the margin stands at 3,877 votes. The Los Angeles Times:

The county registrar reports that 120,000 mail and provisional ballots countywide have yet to be counted, although it is unclear how many of those are in the 52nd District.

-- Arizona's 2nd District:

Democrat Ron Barber's narrow lead over Republican Martha McSally continues to grow: It's currently at 923 votes.

-- North Carolina's 7th District:

Democratic Rep. Mike McIntyre's small lead over GOP opponent David Rouzer is also growing, and now stands at about 640 votes.

Several counties today continue to count absentee and provisional ballots. Results will be made official by the end of the day, but whichever candidate is behind can ask for a recount by Tuesday.

-- Florida's 18th District:

As we reported yesterday, there's a hearing scheduled for this afternoon on GOP Rep. Allen West's request for a recount of ballots cast during early voting in St. Lucie County.
