Tom Smith Internal Shows Dead Heat in Pennsylvania

Neither national committee has shown much interest in the race up to this point, but the recent polling numbers could cause some national strategists to take a second look. McLaughlin & Associates conducted the poll for Smith from Oct. 7-8. The survey of 600 likely voters has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 4 percentage points.
