Mitt Romney makes an appearance in a new television ad for Richard Mourdock, the South Bend Tribune reports.
The Indiana GOP Senate nominee's new spot, scheduled to begin running today, features the GOP presidential nominee asking people to vote for Mourdock.
"There's so much at stake," Romney says in the ad. "I hope you'll join me in supporting Richard Mourdock for U.S. Senate."
Romney, who is expected to win Indiana easily, also campaigned with Mourdock over the summer.
This is the former Massachusetts governor's second recent appearance in an ad in the Indiana Senate race: Last week, Democratic Rep. Joe Donnelly used footage of Romney talking about how "my way or the highway" wasn't a way to get a lot accomplished, in order to contrast him to Mourdock. Donnelly's campaign has sought to cast Mourdock as more extreme than Romney and other Republicans.
Mourdock and Donnelly remain locked in a tight race in the Hoosier State just over two weeks out from Election Day.
