Mack and Nelson both receive mediocre favorability ratings in the new poll. Thirty-six percent said they have a favorable view of Nelson, while 32 percent have an unfavorable view. Thirty percent of likely voters have a favorable opinion of Mack, while 36 percent have an unfavorable opinion of the Republican. The Suffolk University/WSVN-TV poll of 600 likely voters was conducted Sept. 27 through Sept. 30. It has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 4 percentage points.
