Mourdock Haul: $3 Million

Strong fundraising period for Richard Mourdock: Indiana's GOP Senate nominee will report bringing in $3 million during the third quarter, per his campaign.

He also spent nearly as much -- over $2.5 million -- ending the quarter with over $1.3 million in the bank.

The Indiana Treasurer had begun the period with $890,000 on hand. He raised significantly less during the second quarter, bringing in $1.8 million. His Democratic opponent, Rep. Joe Donnelly, has yet to release his third quarter numbers, but finished the second quarter with almost $1.4 million in his campaign coffers.

Outside money has also been pouring into the race recently, as poll after poll shows a very close contest.
