Hassan Has $134,000, Lamontagne $286,000

We've noted before that New Hampshire's gubernatorial contest is a race where the Republicans Governors Association and Democratic Governors Association will play heavily and control the message more than the candidates themselves.

The latest fundraising numbers from Democratic nominee Maggie Hassan and GOP nominee Ovide Lamontagne really drives that point home.

While both committees will spend millions on the race, as of Monday Hassan had $134,000 on hand and Lamontagne had $286,000, the Concord Monitor reports.

Hassan raised $470,000 since the September primary and spent $352,000. Lamontagne raised $302,000 and and spent $274,000.
