Finally, Some Bipartisan Agreement

Democrats and Republicans can't find much to agree on at this time of the election cycle. But a couple of opposing outside groups clearly agree on one thing: that a particular piece of background music is sad and scary.

House Majority PAC, the official unofficial Democratic House super PAC, released a new TV ad hitting Rep. Scott DesJarlais, R-Tenn., today. Something about it seemed familiar. Turns out that a GOP-aligned super PAC, YG Action Fund, used the same score to set the tone for an anti-Democratic ad in Illinois's 12th District last month.

House Majority PAC and YG Action have gone head-to-head in a few seats this cycle, including Democratic Rep. Mike McIntyre's North Carolina 7th District and Democratic Rep. Mark Critz's Pennsylvania 12th District. So it's nice to know there's something they can agree on.
