Washington Governor's Race: Both Sides Ramping Up

In Hotline Sort this morning, I flagged that the PAC supporting former Democratic Rep. Jay Inslee in Washington's gubernatorial race has now reserved close to $5 million in ad time (they had previously reported $3.2 million).

Meanwhile, the Olympian reports that the Republican Governor's Association reported contributing another $1.2 million towards supporting Attorney General Rob McKenna in the race, bringing their total to $5.2 million.

The RGA has already been on air attacking Inslee. Washington is one of just a few marquee gubernatorial contests this November.
