were asked about her, he would say she could be "a real pain -- maybe not ladylike." McCaskill must outperform Obama to win re-election.

, who she said are "really going to be in trouble" if national Republicans decide to come back in and fund Akin.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee cracked open the door to supporting Akin earlier this week, but NRSC chair John Cornyn said
Thursday that they have no plans to put money into the race.
