Israel: Romney Has Coattails ... for Democrats

When asked, Israel wouldn't say he thought Democrats would take back the House, reiterating only that "the House is in play." The press conference gave four of the candidates speaking roles: Elizabeth Esty, the former state legislator running in Connecticut's 5th District (who spoke about outsourcing jobs); Val Demings, the former Orlando police chief running in Florida's 10th District (who talked about holding "tea party Republicans" accountable); Keith Fitzgerald, the college professor and former state senator running in Florida's 16th District (who focused on Medicare in his remarks); and Brad Schneider, the businessman running in Illinois's 10th District (who highlighted "the assault on women's health care").
