Brown Staff Whoops It Up at Rally

Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass., has been doing everything he can to keep the controversy over Elizabeth Warren's Native American heritage in the spotlight -- but he may not like the attention over this.

WCVB-TV reports that Brown staff "chanted Indian 'war whoops' and made 'tomahawk chops'" during a recent campaign rally -- and there's video:

In a video posted on YouTube, Brown's staffers are seen holding campaign signs near the Erie Pub, chanting and making tomahawk chops, presumably in reference to Elizabeth Warren's claims of Cherokee heritage.

Brown's deputy Chief of Staff Greg Casey and Constituent Service Counsel Jack Richard, and GOP operative Brad Garrett are pictured in the video, NewsCenter 5's Janet Wu confirmed.

The video comes after the Native American issue has seen a resurgence in the race: In the first general election debate last week, Brown attacked Warren on the issue. He then followed up with a hard-hitting attack ad on the issue Monday, which Warren responded to later in the day with an ad of her own. Sign-holding Warren supporters also appear in the video, chanting the Democrat's name. In the middle of the short video clip, there's a brief "Yankees suck" chant.
