Previewing the Sunday Shows

With the Republican National Convention just over a week away, the presidential campaigns will be front and center on the Sunday shows.

Obama Deputy Manager Stephanie Cutter will appear on both State of the Union and This Week. Mitt Romney's senior adviser Kevin Madden will also appear on This Week. Romney senior adviser Eric Fehrnstrom will be on State of the Union. And Obama senior adviser Robert Gibbs and Romney senior adviser Ed Gillespie are on Fox News Sunday.

Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani are on Face the Nation discussing whether the 2012 race has entered an all-time low. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum is also on State of the Union discussing the campaign's tone. Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley are on Meet the Press talking tone as well.

On This Week, as part of their partnership with the Miller Center, the show will host a debate to look at whether America is heading toward bankruptcy. The debate panelists will include Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., former TARP Inspector General Neil Barofsky, Former Council of Economic Advisers chair Austan Goolsbee, Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist and Wall Street Journal's Kim Strassel. On Face the Nation, Norquist and Center for American Progress President Neera Tanden are also arguing about competing visions of America's economic future.

Former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed will join the discussion panel on Meet the Press.

Fox News Sunday's Power Player will be Romney strategist Stuart Stevens and the show will profile his role in the campaign.

On FNC this Sunday Juan Williams hosts "FOX News Reporting: Fixing Our Schools" at 9 p.m. He'll take a look at various schools in the United States and interview former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Amplify CEO Joel Klein, as well as educators and principles on what measures they are taking to reform the system.
