Heitkamp Raises Nearly $1 Million

North Dakota Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp had her best fundraising period so far, bringing in just over $977,000 during the second quarter.

Heitkamp had raised $712,000 in the first quarter and ended with 848,000 in the bank. No word yet on her cash on hand at the end of June.

Her opponent, Rep. Rick Berg, has yet to release his fundraising numbers.
