Heinrich Stays Positive in New Ad

Rep. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., released his first ad of the general election campaign on Tuesday, opting to go with a positive spot that does not mention his Republican opponent, former Rep. Heather Wilson.

The ad, entitled, "Dignity," debuts in the Albuquerque television market and features Heinrich building a house while noting that he raised the minimum wage when on the City Council. The congressman also says he has fought "to cut taxes for small businesses" and is holding job fairs with local employers and workers.

"I believe in the dignity of work," Heinrich says in closing.
