A Mason-Dixon survey conducted July 9-11 among 800 likely Florida voters for a number of local media outlets showed Nelson leading by a slim 47 percent to 42 percent margin. Two Quinnipiac University surveys in June also showed Nelson leading within the margin of error, while two automated polls -- which are considered less reliable indicators -- showed Mack ahead.
