Debbie Stabenow Raises Over $1.4 Million

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., raised a solid $1.48 million during the second quarter this year, and ended the period with $4.5 million in the bank.

The haul is down slightly from Stabenow's $1.5 million take during the first quarter of 2012, which was her best fundraising period ever.

Neither former Rep. Pete Hoekstra nor any of the other Republicans vying to challenge Stabenow have announced their fundraising numbers yet. Stabenow ended the first quarter with nearly $7 million in the bank to Hoesktra's $1.5 million.

A source on Stabenow's campaign points out that the senator placed over $3 million in television ad time for October and November.
