The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee outraised the National Republican Senatorial Committee in May by $1.7 million and finished with more money in the bank.
The DSCC raised $5.6 million, while the NRSC brought in $3.9 million. The DSCC ended the month with $28.3 million on hand, and the NRSC finished with $23 million in the bank.
Democrats currently hold a 53-47 advantage in the upper chamber. The party is defending 23 seats in November to the GOP's 10.
