Daniels to Purdue: Bad News for Mourdock, Pence

Now that term-limited Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels has officially been picked as Purdue University's next president, he will no longer be participating in political activity. That's tough news for Richard Mourdock and Mike Pence, whose campaigns would likely have reached out to the popular Republican for help on the stump or in the form of a TV ad in the fall. The Evansville Courier & Press:

Daniels said that "effective immediately, I will recuse myself from any partisan political activities or commentary."
