Underdog Superfans Win 4th Annual Political Pursuit!

"We can name that tune after two words," quipped NPR's Ken Rudin, Martin's teammate. Some questions hit closer to home. Rep. Loretta Sanchez, a Political Pursuit rookie playing for the Hotline Members team, was well-prepared to answer this piece of "West Wing" trivia: In which congressional district did Rob Lowe's character run after working in the White House? The answer: California's 46th District ... which, it just so happens, is currently represented by Sanchez in real life. Skotzko, who was selected by audience members as the event's first-ever MVP, couldn't decide which victory was sweeter -- the individual accolade or the team award. "Well, I would say winning everything is very significant, but I have a feeling my fiance tweeted for a chunk of the event," she said. -- Dan Roem contributed.
