Lugar Mailer Ties Mourdock to Obama

Indiana Treasurer Richard Mourdock's campaign has made a habit of referring to Republican Sen. Richard Lugar as President Obama's "favorite Republican" in television ads. But Lugar's campaign has launched an Obama-themed attack of their own with less than two weeks before the GOP primary.

Lugar's most recent mailer links Mourdock to Obama with the charge: "When an Inexperienced Candidate Promises 'Change'...Hoosiers Know...Change Isn't Always for the Better."

The mailer features side-by-side photos of Mourdock and Obama and highlights some of the charges Lugar's camp regularly lobs at the challenger.

The primary is May 8.
