2) Mitt Romney
aide Beth Myers
, who is heading the former governor's search for a running mate, provides some insight on the process to the New York Times
Ms. Myers said she would seek advice from those who had overseen the vice presidential processes for John McCain and George W. Bush -- as unorthodox as those searches might have been. had some harsh words
for President Obama
on CBS this morning, saying he " lost his courage" and "all he's done is campaign full time for the last six months. ... He's not been engaged in the legislative process at all ... it's shameful."
Boehner officially endorsed Romney on Tuesday. With the president's reelection team making a concerted effort to run against congressional Republicans and more leaders officially getting behind Romney, the war of words could turn nastier still in the near future.
