Cantor Spending $50K On Jobs Ad

"We're [running ads] a little earlier this year, but the timing seemed to be about perfect," said Ray Allen, who handles Cantor's campaigns. President Obama will sign the JOBS Act tomorrow, and a vote on a small-business tax cut is coming just after recess ends. Plus, he added, neither the presidential campaigns nor Virginia's Senate candidates are on air yet. "There's not a lot of clutter or competition in the market right now," he said. Allen, by the way, made a point to note that the people in the ad aren't actors, they're actual small business owners in the district.
