Never too Soon to Help Rick Scott

Some Republicans are concerned Scott could drag down the presidential ticket in the swing state. Scott's polling numbers have been lousy, but they've been on mend, and the ad looks like an effort to shore up his image in advance of the fall election. The state GOP ran robocalls for him last year. A January Quinnipiac poll showed that Scott's approval rating stood at 36 percent, with 49 percent disapproving. That was an improvement from where he stood in May of 2011, when a whopping 57 percent disapproved of the job he was doing, while only 29 percent approved.
