Bracketology, Texas Senate Style

March Madness is under way -- in college basketball and in the colorful Texas Senate race.

In honor of the start of the NCAA tournament, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and former Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert rolled out nearly identical publicity gags. Both candidates unveiled tournament-style brackets on their websites that pit some of President Obama's controversial policies against each other. In each match-up, readers can choose which policy they find more offensive -- and eventually crown a champion.

Dewhurst's mock tournament includes a "Northeastern Liberal Regional" and the "Western European Regional," while Leppert's bracket appears over a picture of Obama's face.

Earlier in the week, Obama unveiled his predictions for the actual tournament on ESPN.
