O'Malley Echoes DSCC, DCCC on Choice Election

-- Regarding the recall effort against Republican Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin, O'Malley stopped short of pledging specific levels of support, but said that if the movement is successful, the DGA will be playing there. "As an organization, we have not talked about it," he said, later adding, "If the recall moves forward, and is successful, the DGA will be there, as we were in Ohio." -- O'Malley cast Democratic victories in Kentucky, West Virginia and Ohio (repealing SB 5) as this message from voters: "Knock off the narrow ideology, and put job creation first." -- But while Democrats scored big wins in Kentucky and West Virginia, they never even had a fighting chance in the governor's races in Mississippi and Louisiana, two states where Democrats once had a prominent voice but didn't even field competitive candidates in many statewide races this year. "In some states, we have had a tougher time than others, because of registration, because of the strength of the current Republican Party in those states," O'Malley said.
