Your Wednesday Fundraising Roundup

October 5, 2011
-- Texas Democratic state Rep. Joaquin Castro brought in a big haul: $515,000, including a $40,000 loan. Castro is challenging Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, in the state's new 35th District, which extends from San Antonio to Austin and could still undergo changes after legal challenges. -- Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., turned in another very productive quarter, raising nearly $629,000 and finishing with over $4.2 million in the bank. Still no word from Democrat Rob Zerban, whose second quarter numbers didn't live up to the pre-release hype. -- Demorat Denny Heck raised $125,000 and finished the third quarter with $360,000 in the bank. Heck could run in Washington's 3rd District or the state's newly added 10th District.
