Tennant, who was endorsed by EMILY's List, is the fifth Democratic candidate to go up on television. Public polling on the race has been extremely limited, and dueling surveys released by Tennant and acting-Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin (D) both show Tomblin leading the race, with Tennant running second, though the Tennant campaign's poll shows a closer contest. Check out at Hotline On Call's reporting on the first ads from Tomblin, state House Speaker Rick Thompson (D) , Treasurer John Perdue (D) and acting state Senate President Jeff Kessler (D).
