There has been little public polling on the race -- the only other survey released this year was an automated survey from Public Policy Polling (D) in January that showed Tomblin and Tennant running neck and neck. The poll of 602 likely Democratic primary voters was conducted for the Tomblin campaign from March 28-31 by Global Strategy Group (D). The survey carries a margin of error of +/- 4.0 percent. The poll conducted for Tennant by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research (D) from March 10-15 surveyed 600 likely Democratic primary voters, with a margin of error +/- 4.0 percent. The primary will take place on May 14.
