3) Five potential Republican presidential candidates spoke at the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition's spring kickoff event. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich urged Republicans to unite in 2012 to defeat the values of the "secular, socialist left." 2) Gingrich also acknowledged in an interview that his team botched the news of his exploration plans last week. 1) In perhaps the clearest sign yet the he's running for president, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R) has hired former Republican National Committee communications director Jim Dyke. Still not convinced? Barbour also committed to a March 26 forum in Iowa sponsored by Rep.
