Starting Lineup: Talent Show

One More To Go: There is just one more House race still left uncalled, and New York Democratic Rep. Tim Bishop is leading Republican Randy Altschuler by 235 votes, according to his campaign. Altschuler's camp says the Republican trails by 234. Both sides have challenged several hundred ballots and the process of reviewing those will begin on Tuesday. The highest percentage of Americans since July of 2009 say the war in Afghanistan is going well for the U.S., according to a Gallup poll released Monday. Forty-five percent said "things are going" well or moderately well for the U.S. in the country, while 54 percent said things are going very or moderately badly. That positive number is up from a low of 32 percent in November of 2009 when Pres. Obama announced his new policy in Afghanistan. While the numbers are still upside down from where the White House would like them, the poll is still welcome news in the Obama administration. The U.S. involvement in Afghanistan will undoubtedly be an issue in the 2012 race. http://bit.ly/ijokgA In Tribute: Enjoy this clip of comic genius Leslie Nielsen, who passed away on Sunday. http://bit.ly/13YksP
