Dart Drops Out, Easing Emanuel's Path To Mayor

The Chicago Coalition for Mayor, a group of African-American clergy, businessmen and labor leaders, is meeting this week to decide on a "consensus candidate" to support in the February 2011 election. The group's endorsement -- expected to go to Braun, Meeks or Davis -- could very well deter other African-American mayoral hopefuls from running.
