The release of Romney's prodigious total (raised jointly with the Republican National Committee) is a reprieve from nearly a month of bad news for the soon-to-be GOP nominee's campaign. Among the hits he's taken: Criticism he was an outsourcing "pioneer," questions about his personal finances, and complaints from conservatives about his uneven response to the Supreme Court's "Obamacare" ruling.
