Julian Assange seems to believe that there is a Jewish conspiracy to smear him and his organization, WikiLeaks, The New York Times reports. The Times points to an article from the British magazine Private Eye, with whom Assange had a “rambling phone call” in which he said Jewish journalists from London's Guardian newspaper were out to make him look bad.

After the report, Assange took to Twitter to say any report of him believing in a "'Jewish conspiracy' is false, in spirit and in word. It is serious and upsetting."
