Born La Crosse, August 22, 1950; single. Graduate La Crosse Central H.S.; B.S. UW-La Crosse 1972. Full-time legislator. Former high school English teacher, congressional aide to Congressman Thomas Petri, and small business owner. Member; Mid Morning Kiwanis Club; Kiwanis Club of Oshkosh (past president); YMCA; Winnebago Co. Republican Party. Elected to Assembly in June 1987 special election; reelected since 1988.
