Trump Won't Rule Out Independent Run

Donald Trump said on Sunday that he would not rule out an independent run for president if he doesn't think the GOP nominee can win, though he added that Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney would have a "very good chance" of beating President Obama in the general election.

"You know, I look at the different polls and one of the big things is, can they win? I just think it's really important for whoever's chosen to be able to win," he said on CBS' Face the Nation.

Trump said he enjoys his business and reality TV show, The Apprentice, but if he thinks it's necessary, he'll run.

"I hope I don't have to, but I may absolutely," he said.
