Mitt Romney appeared on CNBC’s Squawkbox Wednesday morning to celebrate his Super Tuesday victories and to promote his jobs, energy and tax plans.
“After last night, I feel pretty darn good. We had a strong response across the country," he said. "I’m encouraged.”
Despite winning in six states Tuesday night, Romney failed to vanquish his rivals, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. But Romney, who is ahead in the delegate count, appeared optimistic that his campaign will wrap up the nomination before the Republican convention this summer.
“I’m prepared to fight all the way to become the nominee,” Romney said. “There’s not going to be a brokered convention.”
