A parade of leading presidential contenders will attend the Republican National Committee's Annual Gala in Washington next week, including front-runner Mitt Romney, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich and Gary Johnson, according to an RNC official.
The gala, held next Wednesday and hosted by Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, will be headlined by House Speaker John Boehner. An RNC official said more than 50 members of Congress are also expected to attend.
The official added Herman Cain, leading in some recent national polls, might join via video conference. All of the presidential candidates were invited, though some have yet to respond, including Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
