  • With 42 states closed, Democrats haven't gained the 25 seats they would need to gain control of that chamber.
  • House Speaker John Boehner will likely continue his role, pending Republican leadership elections next week.
  • Representative Ben Chandler, D-KY, has lost re-election to Republican Andy Barr.
