A super PAC supporting Rick Santorum announced on Tuesday that it is making a $260,000 ad buy to support the former Pennsylvania senator’s campaign in Louisiana ahead of the state’s March 24 primary.

The ads will begin running on Wednesday, following Santorum’s election-night party in Lafayette, La., on Tuesday night.

“We are confident tonight will be a good night and we are now looking at other states to add to our momentum,” said Stuart Roy, a spokesman for the super PAC, called the Red White and Blue Fund.

The fund has been supporting Santorum’s efforts since the Iowa caucuses, and has acted as a major supplement to the campaign’s own more meager advertising efforts. It recently poured about half a million dollars into supporting Santorum in Mississippi and Alabama, the two states voting on Tuesday.
