Three potential running mates for presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney will be putting their surrogate skills on display during a six-state bus tour over the next several days.

Sens. Rob Portman of Ohio and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire will join Romney in their respective home states, and Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin will campaign with the candidate in Ryan’s hometown of Janesville, Wis., staff members for the three legislators confirmed.

All three are widely presumed to be under consideration for the vice presidential spot and have campaigned with Romney before. They will join Romney during portions of a five-day tour that also includes Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Michigan. Romney plans to meet with families and small-business owners at campaign events.
