Yet another poll out this week shows a neck-and-neck race between President Obama and Mitt Romney, this time from The New York Times/CBS.
The poll shows an even split between the two likely contestants in November: Obama has 46 percent support and so does Romney. Last month’s Times/CBS poll showed 47 percent supporting Obama, with 44 percent supporting Romney.
The poll also shows a lack of strong enthusiasm for Romney, with only one in three saying they would enthusiastically support him in November. Four in 10 said they would support him, but with reservations. Eighteen percent say they will support him, but only because he will be the Republican nominee.
