Julianne Moore won the Emmy for best actress in a miniseries for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in “Game Change,” USA Today reported.

“Wow, I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs down," Moore quipped in her acceptance speech.

She also took a shot at the former Alaska governor. “I wanted to give a shout out to Tina Fey and Katie Couric,” she said. “They were really influential in the 2008 election.”
