The preliminary exit poll of the presidential race hasn’t revealed any surprises, according to the Associated Press, with six in 10 voters reporting the economy is the country’s top issue.

Little less than half of them say the economy is improving, the poll finds, but half blame the country’s fiscal condition on former President George W. Bush. All results are roughly in line with pre-election polls of the White House campaign.
