Jill Biden: The GOP Has Gone 'Way Far Right'

Jill Biden took to television on Thursday as the Obama campaign’s latest surrogate to claim the GOP is sliding farther right, telling voters that they will have a clear choice in November.

“The Republican party has gone way far right,” Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, said in an interview that aired early Thursday on CNN's Starting Point. “It’s certainly not the Republican party I grew up with.” 

Poll: Obama, Romney Tied in Michigan
[National Journal, 6/7/12] President Obama and Mitt Romney are in a virtual dead heat in Michigan, as self-identified independent voters have abandoned the incumbent, according to a new poll released on Thursday.The poll shows Romney leading Obama 46 percent to 45 percent, well within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
